Motherhood.

Hey Mama. Feeling overwhelmed? I bet you never expected motherhood would be so hard. Maybe you are a first time mom and you’re realizing that everyone makes it looks so sweet, fun and easy. But you’re struggling. And you can’t seem to understand what you’re doing wrong. You constantly question whether you’re doing anything right and thoughts of wanting your old life back haunt you. You’re grieving the identity you feel you’ve lost and you’re riddled with guilt and shame for not enjoying this “beautiful” time in your life. Maybe things feel much heavier than you anticipated and you don’t feel bonded to your baby. Or you are having thoughts that scare you and you feel your baby would be better off without you.

Or maybe you’re a seasoned mama. And you are exhausted, tapped out and touched out. You aren’t just treading water, you are completely drowning. You feel like you are constantly juggling 20 balls at once but only really keeping hold of a few, and not well. You feel bitter and resentful to your spouse who just doesn’t seem to get it, resentful for the life you have had to give up, and you’re snapping at those around you because you just need air.

Whatever it is, you need to know, you are most definitely not alone and you can get back to enjoying life again. I have received specialized certification in Maternal and Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and am passionate about helping mamas like you. Let’s work together to help you discover joy in your life, relationships, and family again.
